![]() "Colossus" by Kieron Gillen and Jen Hickman: 2/5 "Totally Invulnerable" by Crystal Frasier and Jethro Morales: 5/5 "When A Black Cat Crosses Your Path, You Give Them The Right-Of-Way" by Leah Williams and Jan Bazaldua: 1/5 (super sexist, super male gaze-y, super gross I never enjoy Williams's writing) "Something New Every Day" by Lilah Sturges and Derek Charm: 2/5 "Under the Stars" by Mariko Tamaki and Kris Anka: 3/5 "The Vows" by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung: 2/5 "Introduction" by Luciano Vecchio and Mike O'Sullivan: 2/5 It's disappointing because I respect many of the creatives featured and they work so hard, but these entries were half-baked at best. ![]() Marvel was patting themselves a little too much on the back about this when they only gave their creatives 1 or 2 pages to create anything meaningful. ![]() Whatever they created was a "blink and you'll miss it" kind of thing but the str8's give them all kinds of accolades as if they invented The Gays™. You ever watch a creative's interview where they're being asked to confirm that a character is gay? The creative sits up proudly in a smarmy kind of way saying, "It's so obvious, come on!" but it really wasn't. ![]()
